Dwight Mumpower HVAC Service is a family owned business serving Gray/Johnson City and the surrounding Tri-Cities area.  Unlike most heating and air conditioning contractors who's ultimate goal is to sell their equipment, I specialize in Inspecting, Maintaining and Servicing your existing heating and air conditioning system, no matter what brand and regardless if residential, manufactured housing (mobile home) or light commercial.  I, do however, sell replacement systems, if needed, as I am a dealer for Amana (through-the-wall, PTAC/PTHP), Coleman, Fujitsu, Goodman and Payne, just to name a few.  I also sell major appliance parts along with unrestricted HVAC parts.​

With over 32 years experience in the HVAC/R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) industry, I can meet your needs for residential and light commercial systems.  I am certified in Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Installation/Service by North American Technician Excellence (NATE tm).  North American Technician Excellence, Inc., is the leading non-profit certification program for technicians in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry and the only test supported by the entire industry.  I am certified by the EPA as a UNIVERSAL technician for refrigerant disposal, handling and use.​​

If your heating or air conditioning system doesn't seem to be operating properly or not at all, just give me a call and I will find the reason why.  I understand that in these tough economic times, people have to make CHOICES.  You will then be given the options to choose from, with pricing, and then you can decide how YOU want  to proceed.  I do not use the usual heating and air conditioning "hard sale" practices, but I do strive to give value added service.  You do NOT have to replace your heating or air conditioning system just because it doesn't work.  If there is a valid reason that your heating or air conditioning system needs a replacement instead of parts, I will tell you and then you have the options you DESERVE to consider without added pressure during trying times.​
