The Tri-Cities region of Northeast Tennessee is made up of several towns situated around the three major cities of Bristol, Johnson City and Kingsport, Tennessee, and sister city, Bristol, Virginia. 

 

Church Hill, Tennessee, located in Hawkins county, was incorporated in 1958.  It was named after a Methodist church was built "on the hill" overlooking the Holston River valley.  One of the most notable landmarks is Canton Hall, a mansion, built by slaves.  The population in 2012 was 6,731 people, a median family income of $41,143 and a median home value of $125,480.  Church Hill has an elevation of 1249 feet and covers 8.89 square miles.
